Frequently Asked Questions
This page collects the questions readers most often ask about how Maslin selects topics, verifies claims, and updates articles. Each answer states plainly what the policy covers and what it does not.
Who writes and reviews the articles on this site?
Every article has a named writer and is checked by a second, named editor before it publishes. Both names stay on the page, and you can see them in the byline at the top of each piece.
How is this publication funded if nothing is sold here?
Maslin runs without a shop, checkout or product line. Running costs are covered by the team behind the site directly, which is one reason we do not need to angle conclusions toward selling anything.
Can I suggest a topic or ask a question to be answered?
Yes. Use the contact form and tell us what you would like covered. Reader questions are logged and are the main way we decide what to write next.
What happens if an article contains an error?
Tell us through the contact form with the article link and what looks wrong. We check it against the original source, correct it if needed, and add a short dated note at the bottom of the piece within 30 days of the report.
Still have questions?
Questions sent through the contact form are typically answered within three business days by a member of the editorial team.
